My name is Ben Chen, I am a full-time professional wedding photographer who has worked for years as a freelance photojournalist. While working as a photojournalist, my photos were published in over 40 magazines and newspapers worldwide. In 2005, I started shooting weddings. 100+ weddings later, I have developed my unique photojournalistic style with a passion to create sexy and edgy photos for the couples. I would love the opportunity to capture these unique and precious moments during your wedding.

I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful couples on the "biggest" day of their lives. It’s truly amazing to have a business together and to see it
grow and continue to be blessed by God. What can we say,
we love what we do and want to share that passion with you.

Hybrid Photography (Alyssa Lang) (California)
I am totally blessed to be able to do what I love for a living. From the very first time I picked up a camera, I was consumed with making photographs, but never thought I could actually make a living doing it until I took my first photo class in college. The first time I photographed a wedding it was love at first shutter click.

I love everything about weddings. I admit that I am a total romantic at heart, and I adore hearing every detail about my clients' weddings. Weddings are such special events and I think it's awesome that I am one of the few vendors who get to see them from start to finish!

I don't like talking much about myself, but I would love to hear about you! Send me an email and let me know what I can do for you.

Ohana Photography (California, Hawaii, Mexico)
Aloha! Welcome to Ohana Photography. Ohana means family. We are a family that absolutely loves what we do.
Here’s our philosophy. A bride in her wedding dress is one of the most beautiful visions we are blessed to see. For those of us daring enough to step outside the confines of “tradition,” that beautiful vision can be fully realized & expressed in ways that it simply can not be on your wedding day. That is what these sessions are all about. To us, they’re not simply a time to just go “trash” a dress for no reason. They’re about letting a bride express her beauty in the dress she has dreamt of wearing for so long, but will put away all too quickly. They’re about nurturing creativity & not worrying about getting dirty. An added bonus to a TTD session is the fact that everyone is so relaxed. No stress, no timeline to follow, no worries, no rules. Years from now we want you to be able to look at your images & remember exactly how much fun you had that day.
We invite you to become part of our extended ohana. C'mon in & share a little aloha at www.sdohana.com. Mahalo (thank you) for dropping by. - David, Kim, April, & Rain

Ben Chen, So Cal Pixels (Arizona, California, Mexico, Worldwide Destination Photographer)

Chris Austin (Orange County)
When my passion for photography began back in 1994, I never once thought it would grow into what it has today. I love photography because it takes me away from the regular world. When I'm snapping away at a sunset, a child, or a bride, I am concentrating on that only. I don't have to think about anything else, and it is wonderful. I take great pride in my work, and how other people feel about it as well. If I'm doing a family portrait session or a wedding, I am working to make them happy. I strive to never make photography feel like a job, feel like something I "have" to do. I hope it will always be something I "want" to do. Now I am living the dream as an award-winning professional wedding and portrait photographer in Southern California. Life is good, so let's get out there and shoot!

Jen and Jody
We each fell in love with photography. Then we fell in love with each other. Chemistry. In sync. Quintessential.
Not everyone gets to love their career or their business partner. We feel fortunate to get to do both...and with seven children.
Yes, a modern-day Brady Bunch. Our blended family consists of four girls and three boys ranging in age from 3-14.
How do we do it? With lots of love and help! They are always keeping us on our toes, much like the weddings we photograph. We never know what will happen next, but our passion for photography stems deep, and it keeps us craving more.

Jody has had a camera in his hand for as long as he can remember. His love and passion for photography coupled with his unique ability to teach himself anything lead him to transition from 12 years in the IT (Information Technology) world, working for companies such as Microsoft and Lexmark to become one of the most sought after wedding photographers in the nation. To say he is ambitious would be an understatement.

Jen has a BA in Journalism, which allows her to be the creative eye behind the lens, capturing true photojournalism. Her experience in professional wedding photography started shortly after college. Working both on her own and contract with other studios, she has professionally photographed over 350 weddings.
Our love for each other shines through in our work. Together we will capture your day with relaxed portraits, candid moments and a fly-on-the-wall approach. A true unique blend of "his" and "hers" in the art of photography.
Two of us. Two of you. One vision.

Philosophy

Our philosophy of shooting can be summed up in just a few concepts. We believe that your dress will get dirty...it's WHITE! If you seriously think your daughter is going to wear the same gown…there’s no way. After all, did you wear your mother's? Enjoy your gown, you'll only wear it once!
When the big day comes, just relax! If things don’t go as planned, if things come up that you didn’t expect, let it roll off your back. Most importantly, at the end of the day, you’ll end up married. Spend time with friends and family, and with Jen and Jody you'll have amazing photos to show for it later, because you'll never taste your cake again, wear your gown or smell your flowers, but your photographs will last for generations.
